Oak Park Piranhas

Welcome to our swim team! At Oak Park we focus on individual skill development with an emphasis on fun. We think teamwork and sportsmanship are more important than winning all the time. Each week we have a goal for our swimmers to accomplish along with our "standard" goals - good sportsmanship and cheering. These goals range from fast starts to technique. We do a yearly lock-in at the pool with everything from a 3:00am silent synchronized swimming contest to chocolate chip pancakes in the morning. We also take a team trip to Emerald Point Wet 'n Wild in Greensboro, have a secret parade, and a mentoring program between swimmers. Our goal is to encourage the lifelong love of swimming while building memories and friendships.
